35Champions is the start of a global movement to equip young people with the leadership skills and humanity they will need to shape the future.
The program draws on over 50 years of experience in human development, originally developed in the UK and now used to train professional teams. It has been adapted specifically for young people—as a response to rising prejudice and as a way to strengthen core human skills that will be increasingly vital in an AI-driven world.
Inspired by Dr. Erica Chenoweth’s "3.5% rule" on social change, 35Champions applies a multiplier effect: showing how a small group of committed individuals can drive large-scale impact.
The program is named in honor of Steven Krulis, whose values reflect the heart of the initiative.
Launching in 2025/26 in partnership with the student-led nonprofit Collegiate Institute of Middle East Affairs, 35Champions aims to grow into a global network of students committed to leading with empathy, courage, and purpose.
